Holly and Kevin

What a way to end the week with a fabulous photo shoot with Holly and Kevin! They are in Albany this weekend for a wedding, so they asked if we could do their Signature Photo session a little early since the wedding isn't until September 13th? We opted to shoot at the Corning Preserve which is part of the Albany riverfront.

Holly works for Canon, so there was a little pressure on me to show her that Nikon can cut the mustard aginst her employer - she was notably happy with the results. In all seriousness we had a great time shooting and getting to know one another.

I'm a firm believer that these pre wedding sessions are very important in building a relationship between the photographer and client. They way I look at it is do you want to shoot with your photographer for the first time before the big day or as your getting ready to put your dress on???

Quite honestly these sessions are so much fun for everyone and mean so much to the overall photography experience I can't imagine not doing them - that's also why I don't charge anything additional for them!

Beth & Ben

Beth and Ben are getting married on July 18th at Sacred Heart church in Troy and will receive their guests at the Century House in Latham. Yesterday we got together to photograph their Signature Photo at the Crossings in Colonie.

We had a lot of fun walking around the grounds and getting into the groove for their wedding photos! They're both very photogenic - Beth with her beautiful smile and Ben with... well Beth's beautiful smile ;-) The session produced some wonderful images and they made some tough choices to narrow it down to one photo.

I had a great shoot guys and can't wait for the wedding!

Heily's Shoot

Every so often I have the pleasure of working with other professionals in the Albany area to create some beautiful images. Yesterday I had a fantastic time working with Cristina Rivera who is one of the best and nicest make up artists (MUA) that I know. Her business is called "Glowing Faces" and can be reached through her website.

Cristina and I were working with Heily Rivera (no relation apparently) to enhance all of our portfolios with some different Glamour photography. I was priviledged to be the first photographer that Heily had shot glamour and implied nudes with and she had a blast!

Now before you all jump to conclusions ;-) My wife is 100% supportive of my photography and knows where I am... She also says that I should do more glamour and budoir because she thinks I'm pretty good at it.

Enjoy the images and if you need a MUA please contact Cristina at Glowing Faces! (http://www.glowingfaces.net//)

Janet and John

I met Janet and John at the Birch Hill Bridal Show a couple of months ago and have the pleasure of photographing their wedding on July 19th. John proposed to Janet at the barn that she has been converting into her future home. They are a fun, energetic couple and I can't wait to be a part of their special day!(http://www.birchhillcatering.com/)

Sarah and Jason's Wedding

Last week (May 31st) Sarah and Jason tied the knot at the beautiful Lake George Club. (http://www.thelakegeorgeclub.com/) When Sarah arrived for the pre-bridal session the clouds parted and the skies cleared for the rest of the day!

The ceremony was simple but wonderful - after that the staff of the Lake George Club and the band Body & Soul got the night rockin!
