Amy & Michael

Wow has it been a week already??? It has been so busy with the weddings to process from July and all the fun things we do in the summer - parties, picnics, family get togethers and keeping the kids occupied! Last Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Amy and Michael's Signature Session in Congress Park in Saratoga. They live in New Jersey but are getting married here in Albany since they have roots here...

Amy and Michael were a wonderful couple to photograph and very easy to work with - both very energetic and talkative. Both Amy and Michael's moms were on hand to watch the session unfold and see the many photos they had to choose from. They even offered their opinions on which ones looked the best (bit my tongue quite a bit) - just kidding moms :-)

We were able to produce some great images together, and I can't wait for the wedding now that they have their first successful photo shoot with me under their belt...

August 2nd - Elissa & John's Wedding

On August 2nd I had the honor and pleasure of photographing my cousin Elissa's wedding in Coxsackie, NY. Elissa was marrying John who is currently in the United States Navy serving aboard the USS George Washington. They are a fun and energetic couple and were an absolute joy to work with.

The ceremony took place in the gazebo at the Coxsackie Riverfront Park and was short, sweet and to the point ;-) Afterwards we took family formals under the shade of the trees at the park and proceeded to the Pegasus banquet house on Rte 9w for dinner and dancing.

It's always great to see family and we do it so rarely these days with our lives so busy. We should all step back and be greatful for the things we have, the family and friends that we share our journey with and be thankful!

Best of luck to both of them as they start their lives together in Norfolk, VA...

July 26th - Diana & Mike's Wedding

Diana and Mike were wed at Riverstone Manor on a hot and humid day that turned into a full on thunderstorm! We were lucky enough to have Diana and Mike see each other prior to the ceremony so all the formal photos of the bridal party were done. Just as the minister blessed them as husband and wife the skies opened up and everyone made a mad dash for cover!

This was the first time in 14 years of shooting weddings that I've had to shoot from under an umbrella but it was worth every minute... Diana was stunning in her gown and Mike as dapper as ever in his tuxedo. They were a pleasure to photograph and rolled with the weather like nothing at all happened.

The staff at the Riverstone was excellent as usual and Skip, Patty and their crew served up a fantastic buffet dinner fit for a king. (http://www.riverstonemanor/)

July 19th - Janet & John's Wedding

What a beautiful Saturday to get married! Janet and John were married the day before Janet's parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary! What a fitting tribute to a successfull marriage - to see your daughter getting married!

Janet and John were really easy going especially considering that thunderstorms rolled over Birch Hill just as the ceremony was starting. So instead of being upset that the ceremony had to be rushed indoors, they just let it roll off their backs... July 18th - Beth & Ben's Wedding

It was almost a year ago that I met Beth & Ben at Kate & Andy's wedding. Beth was Kate's Maid of Honor and now it was Kate's turn to return the favor as Matron of Honor!

Beth and the girls started their day at Belleeza where Connie and her staff did their magic. Every so often I have the chance to work with some fantastic professionals and let me tell you, the ladies at Belleezza were just that!(http://www.bellezzabeauty.com//)

The day was very hot and humid but what a beautiful day for a wedding... The ceremony took place at Sacred Heart RC Church in Troy and the reception was a Century house in Latham. (http://www.thecenturyhouse.com//)

As usual the staff at Century House were very attentive and friendly, the meal was oustanding. My wife always comments on how she stays home and has "whatever" for dinner while I get to have prime rib or something... It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it :-)

This was a fun, energetic and happy wedding (as they all should be) so I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed sharing your special day!

Sarah and Jason's Web Show

Diana & Mike

Diana and Mike decided to get an early start to their summer off from teaching with a Signature Photo Shoot! They pointed me towards the town park in Gloversville with a little stream and beautful weeping willow trees. Both of them were a little nervous (as is almost everyone) when we started the shoot, but relaxed as the afternoon progressed.






Diana is a ball of energy, very charming and the definition of a lady. Mike is strong, fit and has a great sense of humor. The session yielded some very nice images and yes, I did my "signature style" shot of Diana... Mike also had his turn in front of the glamour shooter too, which I think Diana liked!
